The Dixon Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards dinner on April 14, 2011, at the Oak Hill Country Club.  Awards were presented to individuals/organizations/businesses in six different categories.  The winners were voted on by the community via voting forms made available at designated chamber businesses.  The 2011 award winners are as follows:

Citizen on the Year - Theresa Lollis

Volunteer of the Year - Ronnie & Melane Brown  

Business of the Year - Dixon Delano

Educator of the Year - Sarah G'Sell

Organization of the Year - Dixon Lions Club

Entertainer of the Year - Jamie Fritchey Jones, 1st Assembly of God
